MY 2020 FOSTER KITTENS

Here's an overview of all the kittens I fostered in 2020.

Bollie & Dusty

My first kittens ever were Bollie and Dusty. They were two scared kittens who needed a lot of socialisation before they were ready for adoption. They also had infected eyes. I treated their eyes with eyedrops and eyecream. Dusty was still a little scared when he went to his new home, but the lady let me know that he is doing very well. He's now a sweet cuddly kitten. Bollie wasn't that scared anymore when he got adopted. He's recently celebrated his first birthday in his new home and they even sent me some pictures. They're both doing very well.

Tibo

Tibo was found on a parking lot. He wasn't really in bad shape because an older lady had been feeding him. She had no idea whose cat it was though, so she agreed to let him go into fostercare. When he first got here, I noticed that he was covered in flees. A few flee baths later, he seemed to be doing great. Tibo wasn't with me for long, only two weeks or something. He went to his new home where he can run free inside and outside.

Plekje

Plekje was a very cuddly kitten and didn't really need socialisation. He did have some trouble breathing through his nose. I went to the vet a few times and everything seemed fine. He was very active and loved to be close to me. He went to his new home where he could give all that love to his new owner. Unfortunately Plekje got very sick in his new home not long after the adoption. He died at the vet and they never found out what caused it.

Billy & Lilly

Billy and Lilly were two very cute kittens, but they were tiny when they first got here. They grew up to be very playful and sweet kittens. They were always open for a cuddle. They loved playing with each other and also got adopted together!

Moppie & Dotje

Moppie and Dotje were also quite little when they arrived here. Dotje was a little scared in the beginning and needed some time to get used to me. Moppie didn't need a lot of socialisation. They loved playing with each other. Dotje had some issues with an infected wound on his lip because of the play fights with his brother, but other than that there weren't any big issues. They got adopted together and are still thriving in their new home.

Wilma

Wilma was the last kitten I fostered in 2020. She came in as 'Willy', but turned out to be a female kitten at the vet. Wilma was very sweet when she first got here. She always wanted to cuddle and be close to me. As she got older, she got a little bit wilder. She wanted to play, but didn't know when to stop. Sometimes she would bite softly, but she would also scratch because she didn't know her boundaries. I mentioned Wilma before in my other post. She's the kitten that lost her tail. Luckily she got adopted by a very lovely and patient family. She is now best friends with the cutest labrador dog.

After Wilma, there was a 6 month break. Stay tuned to see an overview of my 2021 kittens!
